Employee SpotlightIsa Alvarado is Retiring!
Isa has been an integral part of E. EXCEL North America for 18 and a half years! Her commitment to excellence and reliability have kept keep the Quality Control department operating smoothly. Alisa Wilson has had the joy of working with Isa for the last year and describes her as consistent and reliable. "Isa has influenced production in several ways. She is steady and reliable and that helps set a consistent expectation throughout the department. Quality is a tough job and sometimes a person has to relay information about defects to other who have put their hearts into their work and Isa always present this information kindly without being offensive or hurting anyone." Not only is she graceful under pressure, Isa always takes the time to teach others! She always takes time to help anyone who requests her assistance and never does so halfheartedly. Her throughtful approach is always product and process driven and helps builds trust and a sense of teamwork through the department. We're sad to see Isa go, but we hope you join us in wishing a sincere thankful for her years of service to E. EXCEL! |

Pioneer Day Celebration!Last Year's Champ Takes It AgainIf there's anything we know how to do it's have fun! We also throroughly enjoy making people look silly. Put the two together and you get the annual Pioneer Day BBQ! The food this year was excellent and we all owe a debt of gratitude to Genghis and Tri for grilling up delicious brats and dogs for us. The food was so good even Carol ate it without making a face! After we were all stuffed to the gills it was time for the annual corn eating contest! The competition was tough this year, but Norma made it out as champion again! In addition to the amazing food and fun games there were plenty of prizes raffled off and everyone walked away with something! Thanks again for an excellent lunch too all employees! |

School Supply Drive
Don't forget that E. EXCEL is collecting supplies for students for the upcoming school year! The next time you make a trip to the store be sure to grab some loose leaf paper, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, or 1' binders to help benefit a student this year, Please bring your graciously donated supplies to Terri Tanner's office during the month of August.
Club E. EXCEL
It seems like some in the office have lost their fighting spirit! Don't forget to bring your favorite boad games to the breakroom to donate to Club E. EXCEL. Have a friendly game of chess while eating lunch and encourage a friendly rivalry!
Also, bring in a baby photo of yourself! All month each of you will have the opportunity to guess who's who! Don't worry, Ashton won't be participating — that's practically cheating.
New Insurance BenefitsPolicy Changes are Effective August 1
Our insurance provider has changed to Select Health and these changes will become effective August 1. Be on the look out for your insurance cards to arrive by mail soon! Also, if you made changes to your Delta Dental plan, or joined for the first time, be on the look out for communication from this as well!
